The State of Health in the EU’s Country Health Profiles provide a concise and policy-relevant overview of health and health systems in the EU/European Economic Area. They emphasise the particular characteristics and challenges in each country against a backdrop of crosscountry comparisons. The aim is to support policymakers and influencers with a means for mutual learning and voluntary exchange. The profiles are the joint work of the OECD and the
European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, in cooperation with the European Commission.
