Palm Oil is very useful for edible oil to make food products, such as frying or cooking oil included red palm oil, Margarine, Bakery shortenings and margarines, and also specialty fats. Refinery is the industry who very useful for made crude palm oil to produce RBD Olein(cooking oil) with side product such as PFAD and stearine (can be used for non edible industry). Every year, cooking oil processed by refineries often requires raw materials of CPO around 4 until 5 million tons. Currently, Indonesia has 94 refineries spread across 19 provinces.
