E-book A Self-Harm Self-help Workbook for Young People in Secondary School
This self-help workbook provides information and advice about self-harm. Most importantly, it gives some techniques and tools to keep yourself safe and help reduce self-harming behaviour as well as how to get support and what help is available. You can either complete this on your own, or alongside an adult you trust so that they are able to offer support. It is helpful to work through this workbook slowly, completing small bits at a time. Everyone is different and will work through this booklet at a different pace but setting aside an hour a week to begin with might be a good place to start. Make sure you give yourself a few days where you can practice the skills you learn. Feel free to go back to an early section or repeat it. There is no right or wrong way, just whatever works best for you!
