An Approach to General Systems Theory

This book is intended as a textbook for a one-semester course in general systems theory. It has been written for advanced undergraduate and graduate students. A brief description of the organization of the book is given here, as well as some suggestions for its use and acknowledgements to those people and instituions who have helped to bring it to fruition.
