Mandar was also rich in fish. Nature has sufficed the needs of human inhabiting the land of Mandar. The people of Mandar showed their gratitude by working on the
gifts. The farmers worked hard on the rice field under the prickly hot sun. The men ploughed the field, while the women planted seedlings. The fishermen worked as hard as the farmers. They left early in the morning to cast net and catch fish in the sea. In the afternoon they returned from the sea and sold the fish in the market.
